Well, I don’t know if I qualify as next of kin, because I’m not sure I’ll be making that trip. I’m expecting Randy will be posting an explanation of the geographical and geological features of this poor, landlocked (ok, so they share a lake) country. Wow.
I am pleased to see that the State Department understood the “B” theme of the names in our family and kept the tradition alive!
Yikes Burundi…now that’s getting off the beaten path! It’s not on our bucket list however that doesn’t mean that it won’t be. I googled a bit this morning to find out where in the world Burundi is…and found a very cool blog by a family that has been living there for several years. Some great pictures of the area and interesting tales about living there. Check it out. http://www.longmilescoffeeproject.com/blog/ Love the new format of your blog Babette.

And they have fly fishing for Randy…

Although searches for “Scotch Whiskey and Barundi” didn’t really turn up anything. That may have to be imported.
